Empower Your End-of-Life Journey

My Story…

When my mom was diagnosed with dementia in 2020, the urgent need for clear guidance and compassionate planning became impossible to ignore. Overnight, decisions about care, legal matters and day-to-day comfort fell to me, and were often made on the fly and under intense emotional pressure. Learning to be an end-of-life doula transformed that experience—giving me practical tools for advance care planning, communication strategies for difficult conversations, and the steady presence families need when choices feel overwhelming.

I became determined that others should not have to navigate those moments alone or learn through crisis. My work now focuses on preparing people and their families ahead of time so decisions are not improvised in the hardest hours. Through education, companionship and tailored planning, I help make the path gentler, clearer and more human—so families can spend their energy on being together, not scrambling for answers.

What is an End-of-Life Doula?

An end-of-life doula (or death doula) is a trained professional who provides emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and their families before, during and after the dying process. They serve as compassionate companions, helping to navigate the complexities of end-of-life planning, decision-making, and the overall dying experience. An end-of-life doula offers assistance with creating meaningful, personalized plans that reflect the wishes of the individual, while also providing education and advocacy around the dying process. Their role encompasses facilitating conversations about death and dying, offering comfort and reassurance, and ensuring that the individual’s journey is as peaceful and dignified as possible. Additionally, they may help coordinate care and resources, ensuring that both the individual and their loved ones are supported throughout this profound transition.
